Char Dham (Uttarakhand)
Day 1: Chandigarh to Haridwar/Rishikesh – The Gateway to Devotion

Your yatra begins with a road journey from Chandigarh to Haridwar/Rishikesh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, witness the Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri (Haridwar) or Triveni Ghat (Rishikesh), a mesmerizing spiritual experience.
Day 2: Haridwar/Rishikesh to Barkot – Enchanting Hill Views

After an early breakfast, proceed towards Barkot, a beautiful hill town. En route, pass through the scenic towns of Dehradun and Mussoorie, and stop to admire the famous Kempty Falls. Enjoy the cool mountain breeze and serene landscapes before reaching Barkot.
Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri – The First Dham of Salvation

Begin the day with a drive to Janki Chatti, the starting point of the trek to Yamunotri (6 km one way). You can trek on foot or hire a pony/palki. Upon reaching Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Surya Kund hot springs and seek blessings at the Yamunotri Shrine, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna.
After darshan, return to Barkot for a peaceful night’s rest.
Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi – Sacred Shores of Bhagirathi

After breakfast, drive towards Uttarkashi, a picturesque town on the banks of River Bhagirathi. En route, soak in the breathtaking Himalayan landscapes. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the evening exploring the local temples and spiritual sites.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri – The Origin of the Ganges

After an early breakfast, drive through scenic valleys to Gangotri, the second Dham of the Char Dham Yatra. Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, believed to be the source of the sacred Ganges. Seek blessings at the Gangotri Temple, nestled amidst towering snow-capped peaks.
After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi – The Divine Stop Before Kedarnath

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey towards Guptkashi, passing through Rudraprayag and Tehri Dam. Guptkashi is known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend the evening in spiritual reflection as you prepare for Kedarnath’s darshan the next day.
Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath – The Abode of Lord Shiva

Wake up early and proceed towards Sonprayag, the starting point for the Kedarnath trek (18 km one way). You can trek on foot or hire a pony/doli/helicopter for convenience. As you reach the Kedarnath Temple, nestled amidst the mighty Himalayas, offer your prayers to Lord Shiva, seeking his divine blessings.
Day 8: Kedarnath to Badrinath – Journey to the Final Dham

After an early morning darshan at Kedarnath, trek down to Guptkashi and continue your journey to Badrinath, the last and most sacred Dham. On arrival, visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Ganesh Gufa, which hold immense mythological significance.
Day 9: Badrinath Darshan & Rudraprayag Stay

Early in the morning, take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund (hot water spring) and seek blessings at the Badrinath Temple. Marvel at the grandeur of the Neelkanth Peak, a sight that fills devotees with divine bliss.
After darshan, begin your return journey and stop at Rudraprayag, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers meet.
Day 10: Return to Haridwar/Rishikesh & Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh, reminiscing about the spiritual experiences of the Char Dham Yatra. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at the railway station/airport for your return journey to Chandigarh.
