Day 1: Chandigarh to Rishikesh (230 km | 6-7 Hours)

Your journey begins with a comfortable drive from Chandigarh to Rishikesh, the gateway to the Himalayas. En route, witness the beauty of Haridwar, where you can stop at Har Ki Pauri for the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti. Upon reaching Rishikesh, visit iconic sites like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Spend the night in Rishikesh, rejuvenating yourself for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Rishikesh to Govindghat (270 km | 9-10 Hours)

Wake up early for a scenic drive towards Govindghat, a small town near Joshimath that serves as the base for the trek to Hemkunt Sahib. The journey offers stunning views of Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag, where sacred rivers converge. Upon arrival at Govindghat, check into your hotel, relax, and prepare for the upcoming trek.

Day 3: Govindghat to Ghangaria (Trek – 13 km | 5-6 Hours)

After a wholesome breakfast, begin your trek to Ghangaria, the stopover village before Hemkunt Sahib. The trail is filled with lush greenery, cascading waterfalls, and the serene Pushpawati River flowing alongside. You can either trek or opt for mules/palkis for assistance. Upon reaching Ghangaria, check into your accommodation and explore the local gurudwara before resting for the night.

Day 4: Ghangaria to Hemkunt Sahib & Back (Trek – 12 km | 7-8 Hours)

The most awaited day of the yatra starts early as you trek towards the sacred Hemkunt Sahib, located at an altitude of 4,632 meters. The steep climb rewards you with breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the tranquil Hemkunt Lake. Offer prayers at the Gurudwara Hemkunt Sahib, take a holy dip in the glacial lake, and soak in the divine energy of the place.

After spending some peaceful moments, descend back to Ghangaria, where you will stay overnight.

Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat & Badrinath Visit

Begin your descent from Ghangaria to Govindghat, followed by an optional visit to the revered Badrinath Temple, one of the Char Dham sites. Seek blessings at the Tapt Kund (hot water spring) and witness the majestic Neelkanth Peak. After darshan, return to Govindghat for a restful night.

Day 6: Govindghat to Rishikesh (270 km | 9-10 Hours)

Bid farewell to the mountains as you drive back towards Rishikesh. Upon arrival, you can unwind at the Ganges Ghats, visit the Triveni Sangam, or simply relax in the spiritual atmosphere of this holy city.

Day 7: Rishikesh to Chandigarh & Departure (230 km | 6-7 Hours)

After breakfast, start your return journey to Chandigarh, concluding this blissful yatra with cherished memories and divine blessings. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, our representative will drop you at your preferred location – airport, railway station, or home.
